Writing - Infrequent Weather

This is a song I am working on for my music project Miner's Canary.
-----

Like infrequent weather,
To seven phases we're tethered.
Something about our brights,
And trees they light at midnight.
Am I alone with friends?
Let me show you where I've been

(chorus)
Well I have a sinking feeling.
All my cards fall from my sleeves.
Everyone I know is reeling.
From my ghost-like transparency.

(bridge)
Am I a stepping stone?
Or a sink hole in the road?

So what are the variables,
That tie you? So unbearable.
Let me share your cigarette.
I don't want you alone in death.
I gave all I could.
You're still gone for good.

(chorus)
Well I have a sinking feeling.
All my cards fall from my sleeves.
Everyone I know is reeling.
From my ghost-like transparency.

(outro)

Well I have a sinking feeling,
I am a stepping stone.
Everyone I know is reeling.
I am just a ghost.
